Emerald Edges' Adopt an Elder Lawn Care Program

Starting this March, Emerald Edges is giving back to our community with our monthly Adopt an Elder Lawn Care Program. Each month, we’ll provide FREE basic lawn care services to a deserving senior in need residing in McClain, Cleveland, or Oklahoma Counties.

Who is Eligible?

We encourage nominations for seniors aged 65 and older who are facing challenges that prevent them from caring for their lawns. Eligible properties are single-family homes with less than ½ acre of property.

What Services are Included?

Our service includes basic mowing, trimming, bag and edging. Please note that services such as tree trimming, landscaping, and hardscaping are not included in this program.

How to Nominate a Deserving Senior:

  • Like & Follow our Facebook page.
  • Submit a nomination via phone, text, email, or Facebook Messenger. When nominating, please provide the senior's name, address (if known and with permission), a brief description of why they deserve to be selected, and your contact information. Please ensure you have the senior's consent before submitting their nomination.

Note: Nominations will be accepted throughout the spring and summer months. A winner will be chosen by random drawing on the 20th of the prior month and notified shortly thereafter.

Service Details

The selected senior will receive lawn care services twice during the month they have won.

This program runs throughout the spring and summer months.
